We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team in our Arlington Heights, IL office.

Job Description

The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Marketing Director and other marketing team members to execute Johnson Lambert’s marketing, branding, and business development program.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

*Support the proposal and business development processes:
*Serve as a project manager for proposal process on large new business opportunities
*Utilize materials in proposal templates, in content libraries/repositories, and from proposal planning discussions to draft and edit customized proposals and meeting materials
*Monitor and facilitate debriefing to tailor and enhance the proposal content; draft updated language for templates and content libraries
*Oversee governance of CRM data; lead execution of CRM update initiatives; and have involvement in CRM customization projects
*Coordinate branding and internal/external communications initiatives as directed, including:
*Ensure compliance with firmwide brand standards while still providing creative insight for the design, messaging, and delivery methods of thought leadership and other deliverables (website, newsletters, blog posts, webinars, social media, general email marketing, other external collateral and deliverables, etc.)
*Participate in develop of and lead execution of niche-focused marketing campaigns, including utilization of marketing automation software and coordination of multi-platform campaigns
*Coordinate and occasionally attend marketing events such as in-person, firm-hosted prospecting events
*Assist in developing and executing internal communication campaigns
*Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise:
*Participate in professional organizations, independent study, etc.
*Integrate new knowledge, skills, and best practices into daily work and share with colleagues as appropriate.
*Other business development, marketing and branding tasks and responsibilities, either recurring or nonrecurring, as assigned by the Marketing Director

Job Qualifications

*Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Communications, English, Journalism, or have a comparable level of education and experience
*Two to five years of marketing experience; professional services environment preferred
*Excellent Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills required, and experience with Microsoft Excel, G Suite, and social media sites (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) preferred
*Knowledge of CRM required; specific Salesforce experience is a plus
*Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign/QuarkXPress, and marketing automation software (i.e., HubSpot) preferred
*Strong writing skills mandatory; detail- and process-orientation is critical
*Essential to demonstrate professionalism, organization, and creativity
*Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, up to and including senior firm personnel; must work well in a team environment
*Ability to manage concurrent, fast-paced projects and deadlines
