JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Associate aids in the development and implementation of tax campaigns and programs and ensures efforts are aligned with strategy, positioning, key messages, and brand identity. Engages most closely with other marketers and specific partners involved in identified programs / campaigns including tax service lines, other lines of business and industry teams, and may work with local, niche teams on tax related marketing campaigns and events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
•Webcasts - Supports service line and LOB webcasts. Specific activities may include development of webcast invitations, CPE documentation, setting timeline for preparation, hosting preparatory calls, coordinating formal content review for brand and style and post-event messaging.
•Sponsorships/Conferences - Coordination and implementation of trade show sponsorships and seminars including coordinating approvals from legal, marketing (brand), and tax leadership as required
•Promotional items - Order and distribute marketing premiums and materials in support of sponsorships, conferences and events
•Project management - Manage projects in coordination with internal centers of excellence and external vendor/association relationships
•Website publishing - Proofread and publish approved content to rsmus.com and provide backup to service line marketers for content publishing.
•Reporting - Assist national tax marketing lead with leadership team reporting including compiling monthly metrics for digital and other campaigns
•Communications - Supports tax marketing team in the development of e-newsletters.
•Proofreading - Supports quality assurance for marketing content materials and programs
Annual tax summit series - Provide support for national tax programs, executed locally •Coordinate national programming and local event schedule
•Standardize promotions and program communications
•Ensure local marketers follow tax protocol and provide summary metrics/KPIs

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree (marketing related preferred) or equivalent marketing/administrative experience required

TECHNICAL SKILLS
•Marketing basics (required)
•Ability to use excel, word, power point programs (required)
•Ability to learn other platforms and programs (required)
•Understanding of digital marketing (required)
•Understanding of content marketing (preferred)
•HTML experience helpful (preferred)

EXPERIENCE
•2+years’ experience required
