The Strategic Marketing Manager helps partners and managers identify and track business opportunities and develop relationships with prospective clients, coordinates office marketing strategies and executes internal and external communications. This individual collaborates with numerous partners, including industry leaders, and other marketing and business development personnel throughout the firm. This role will be based out of our Oakbrook Terrace office.

Responsibilities:

•Ensure marketing assets are being used efficiently and effectively to build firm reputation
•Develop and execute a media and public relations plan
•Provide guidance to managers and partners on ways to identify and actively follow up with strong prospects
•Initiate sales opportunities
•Lead, coordinate and design new and creative ideas around the firm’s prospecting efforts
•Lead the development and execution of seminars/roundtables, speaking engagements and client appreciation events
•Identify and coordinate strategic community involvement and sponsorships
•Provide day-to-day management of marketing staff. Provide regular feedback on accomplishments and opportunities for improvement. Help provide opportunities for professional growth and broadening of experience.
•Actively manage successful sales pursuit efforts through team involvement, market research and communication throughout impact prospect opportunities

Qualifications:

•5+ years of overall marketing experience; proven track record of developing and executing business development marketing plans
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related discipline
•Ability to interact with partners and leaders at the highest level of the organization
•Superior communication skills
•Proven leadership ability, including strong people management skills
•Manages effectively through change; strong team player; resolves issues and capitalizes on opportunities
•Independent thinker and a person who can take direction and initiate action
•Efficient, organized, detail oriented and able to multitask.
•Strong Microsoft Office skills
•Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM system a plus
•Prior experience at a professional services firm is ideal
