Job Description:

Buchbinder is seeking an experienced and energetic individual for the position of Marketing Coordinator. This person would be responsible for coordinating and implementing all Firm marketing activities. They would be working closely with senior leadership of the firm and staff members to develop marketing plans consistent with the overall vision of the Firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing outside marketing activities when assigned, like
-Social Media
-Newsletters
-Mailings and direct mail campaigns
-Events
-Speaking engagements
-Press releases
-Advertising
-Maintaining an inventory of promotional materials (brochures and giveaways)

Maintain and update the firm’s social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) through regular postings and updates; schedule regular social media posts through Hootsuite.

Maintaining the firm’s website (includes updates and working with the vendor on changes).

Design marketing and advertising copy, graphics, and layout in accordance with firm standards, such as HTML e-mail announcements.

Research prospective client data

Source promotional materials for marketing-related firm events.

Managing the firm’s marketing calendar

Owning, scheduling and writing recaps for monthly marketing and practice group meetings

Coordinate the management of the sales pipeline and other business development scorecards

Assist with creation of quotes, proposals, and other client-facing deliverables

Tracking results of various marketing activities (Web, Social Media, Events, Etc.)

Tracking and reporting on reasons for lost proposals

Write and issue press releases to media outlets.

Coordinating and managing ongoing client nurturing programs (i.e. birthday cards, holiday cards)

Managing external vendors, including copywriters, designers, printers, list brokers, and telemarketing firms.

The ideal candidate will have:
• A Bachelor’s degree in, communication, marketing or a related field is required.
• 2 to 4 years of marketing, communications or related experience. Experience with financial services industry is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Have outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write and design advertisements
• Have an energetic and friendly personality
• Have great time-management and organizational skills.
• Experience with event planning, CRM, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Constant Contact is a plus.
