We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Arlington Heights, IL. The Marketing Specialist-Marketing/Branding provides direct support in the execution of a wide variety of marketing and branding initiatives.

Essential Duties

Marketing Communications
*Oversee the Firm’s Newsletter Program; including managing deadlines,working with authors, creating and disseminating all newsletters
*Oversee the Firm’s Webinar Program; including managing all deadlines, working with presenters, scheduling meetings, assisting with slide preparation, overseeing dry runs, critiquing webinar content and delivery; sending all invitations and internal/external communications; working with Marketing Specialist-Business Development to update the firm’s CRM system after the webinar.
*Work with the Marketing Specialist-Business Development to create content for business development nurturing campaigns.
*Work with Branding Partner and Marketing Director to develop video marketing strategy. Execute video marketing strategy.
*Work with Marketing Director to determine information that should be included in Audit Plan documents. Work with Quality Control team to add the appropriate marketing information to these documents.
*Responsible for ongoing website updates -- ensuring we’re promoting the right content, posting new blogs, keeping all content updated.
*Assist in development and execute internal marketing campaigns.

Brand Management
*Ensure consistent branding is used in all marketing and business development pieces.
*Ensure consistent voice/tone in all written marketing pieces and thought leadership pieces. Work with Marketing *Specialist-Business Development to ensure consistent use of voice/tone in all business development documents, including proposal template text.
*Work with Quality Control team to ensure consistent use of branding elements in all Johnson Lambert deliverables.
*Oversee Marketing Intern in formatting documents; ensure that the documents (presentations for speaking engagements, trainings, etc.) meet the branding standards.

Social Media
*Work with Branding Partner and Marketing Director to develop social media strategy.
*Execute social media strategy.

Content Administration
*Work with Marketing Specialist-Marketing/Branding to make regular updates to brochures, one-pagers, and other materials. Make updates on professional staff resumes on the website.

Conferences and Sponsorships
*Assist Marketing Director in overseeing conference plan and sponsorship needs, including development of social media messaging, email communications, selection of appropriate promotional items, event material preparation, reminders, and follow-up communications.
*Work with Marketing Specialist-Business Development to ensure conference attendees have information from *Salesforce, including previous interactions with Johnson Lambert via newsletters and webinars.
*Oversee Marketing Intern to execute conference shipping and administrative logistics (registrations, hotel bookings, etc.)
*Create ads for all appropriate sponsorships

Skills needed:

*3-6 years experience
*Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
*Project management skills
*Very strong writing skills
*Some creative skills - need to design newsletters (or at least have the vision)
*Experience with social media
*Experience working with website content management systems (WordPress ideal)
*NOT NEEDED BUT NICE: Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot (or other Marketing Automation systems), Video Experience
