This highly visible and collaborative role reports to the Marketing Director. The Senior Marketing Manager holds a high-level of responsibility for the firm’s marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated and purpose-driven marketing strategy. This individual is dedicated to upholding strong SSF and B Corp values and breathe those values into every process, procedure, and policy they oversee. Ensure that the marketing team implements all marketing objectives
Supervise the marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules, and deadlines
Oversight of the SSF and SSF Financial Advisers (SSFFA) Brand
Development and implementation of the SSF and SSFFA Brand strategy
Develop and continually innovate the go-to-market strategy for new and existing services
Oversee implementation of the SSF and SSFFA Marketing strategy — including email campaigns, digital and print advertising, events, website maintenance and updates, digital marketing, and PR while providing an analytic review of these programs
Sales enablement along with measuring, monitoring, and reporting on marketing performance
Assist in onboarding and completing any potential merges or acquisitions
Work closely with firm partners; enabling them to meet their sales objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and presentations
Work closely with service and niche leaders to define marketing materials and go-to-market strategy
Oversee social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organization
Undertake continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends
Develop and manage marketing budgets and monitor costs
Oversee, develop, and manage all internal and external events
Showcase supportive leadership to not just the marketing team but the firm and uphold the firm’s core values and the values of being a certified B Corporation


Advanced proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, SEO, and WordPress
Working knowledge: Google Business Tools, Customer Relationship Management software Marketing Automation and Social Media Management Tools
Extremely Desirable Proficiency: HubSpot, Sprout Social, Sugar/Symphony CRM
Knowledge and experience with social media and digital strategy
Knowledge in graphic design and ability to critique and polish marketing materials of various mediums
Excellent attention to detail and project management experience
Experience with creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
Ability to delegate tasks, set clear goals, and deadlines for the marketing team
Forge and maintain relations of trust with all stakeholders internally and externally

Proven experience as a senior marketing professional, 8+ years’ experience
Excellent leadership and organizing skills
Experience in amplifying and growing a team
Analytical and creative thinking
Strong marketing ethics and transparency
Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
Up to speed with current marketing techniques and best practices
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, and communications, or relevant field
