Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator
Organization: Lavine, Lofgren, Morris & Engelberg, LLP
Location: La Jolla, CA

Lavine, Lofgren, Morris & Engelberg LLP is seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruiting Coordinator to work with our thriving accounting firm’s recruiting program. As a result of our firm’s rapid growth, we are seeking an individual who will be responsible for finding qualified candidates and assisting in developing programs to ensure that new team members transition smoothly into our firm. Recruiting Coordinator candidates must be outgoing and eager to develop relationships with recruits at all levels and will work closely with our COO and Recruiting Committee. The position offers growth potential for assuming additional HR and marketing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Experienced CPA Recruiting:
• Proactively recruit candidates at all levels, from staff accountants to lateral
• Coordinate efforts to promote LLME in the San Diego accounting community
• Work to expand our recruiting reach throughout the US (primarily in the West Coast)
• Develop new recruiting content (brochure, handouts, ads, website, etc.)
• Maintain firm profiles on LLME website, Linked In, Facebook, Instagram and other social media sites
• Schedule, coordinate and conduct interviews with candidates
• Collect feedback from interviews and follow up with candidates
• Prepare offers letters
• Develop an orientation package and program for new hires
• Coordinate start dates, training and mentorship of new hires
• Stay up-to-date on recruiting trends and best practices
• Support and enhance DEI policies and programs

College Recruiting:
• Continue nurturing the firm’s strong relationships with San Diego colleges and universities
• Expand outreach to top colleges and universities throughout the US
• Manage all on campus activities including:
o Meet the Firms Events
o On Campus Presentations
o On Campus and 2nd Interview scheduling
o Attend bi-annual college recruiting meetings
o Post open positions on Handshake and other online college recruiting platforms
o Develop a working relationship with on- campus recruiting offices and professors to help them better understand LLME
and consider LLME an attractive place to start a career
• Schedule and coordinate all in-office events for students (summer leadership, office tours, etc.)
• Oversee internship program and work to develop regular check-ins and feedback gathering

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably within the accounting industry
• At least one year working for a public accounting firm
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Very outgoing personality
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Must operate with discretion and sensitivity with confidential information
• Positive and go-getter attitude
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
