Korby Boswell Named Volunteer of the Year

AAM's Volunteer of the Year award recognizes dedication to the association, involvement on committees and/or special projects, as well as professional accomplishments.

As a member of AAM since 2017, Korby Boswell, Senior Marketing & Growth Specialist with Adams Brown has been a dedicated AAM volunteer for several years. Over the past year, he has taken over the reins of chairing the Member Growth Committee, which his warm and welcoming personality naturally supports. He also plays a vital role in AAM’s most recent initiative the AAM Circles, which are small communities of like-minded members sharing information around a specific topic, region or role. Korby has been instrumental in ensuring the 27 Circles and their leaders have the resources and support they need, which has resulted in 235 members participating in a Circle. Korby is not only an organized volunteer leader, but he is intentional about building genuine connections and is kind and welcoming to everyone, which is the true spirit of an AAM volunteer leader. Korby was also named Rookie of the Year in 2019.

Bethany Silvis Honored as Rookie of the Year

A marketer on the rise demonstrating distinction in the field, the Rookie of the Year shows creativity, initiative and ambition in their firm.

Bethany Silvis, Marketing Supervisor for Kerkering Barberio & Co. (KB) joined the firm in 2018 as the Marketing Coordinator. Bethany also manages digital webinars and presentations and learned Camtasia to edit videos for the website, social media and specific campaigns including a series, "A Day in the Life of a CPA" which was used as recruiting tools.

Bethany has become focused on client experience and has made it a key focus for KB in 2022. She sits on the University of South Florida Muma College of Business Customer Experience Advisory Board as a Program Advisor and has completed the Customer Experience Course provided by USF.
