OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing. Another area of activity is overseeing the logistics related to our events, sponsorships and mixers throughout the year. The firm’s marketing strategy and levels of activity are growing, and we’re looking for a specialist who can not only help us support our growth efforts but also help us do so evermore effectively, efficiently and beautifully. This position is meant to help us build on a marketing operations foundation and bring it forward.

Our team is a small and collaborative one, so this role also includes a wide range of other marketing and BD support activities, such as supporting individual partners’ requests for materials, conducting research on a diversity of topics, and working with client and opportunity data and analysis. We will also need this position to be open to occasional event attendance to cover things like a tradeshow table here, setup/breakdown of a seminar there. In this role there is a combination of the strategic and tactical, which is a trend for every position in the marketing team.

Beyond the requirements below, the ideal candidate will poses a keen eye for detail and design/layout, an innate sense of client-centric communications and the client journey, an abiding desire to learn more, and the drive to proactively take their skills to the next level. We’re looking for people who have a passion for marketing, communications and branding, and who are tuned into the ever-changing trends and best practices in this arena. We want to work with folks who employ a great balance between being an independent self-starter and being a collaborative, communicative teammate.

This is the kind of position that has the tendency to grow, so if you thrive on learning new things and expanding your domain over time, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
