Many firm wide initiatives are often developed and executed by our Corporate Shared Services Department which includes Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Information Technology, and Support Services. Cohen & Company is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our growing Marketing & Business Development team. Qualified candidates must have a strong understanding of current industry trends and best practices for both print and digital pieces, managing relationships with printers and working with well with agency support. Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop creative concepts for print and online marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, design for:
o Marketing and sales collateral
o Email and landing pages
o Newsletters, alerts, updates, and announcements
o Presentations, client and internal
o Event-related assets, e.g. invitations, logo development, and giveaways
o Sponsorship advertising
o Infographics
o Website and social media assets
• Ensure quality and brand standards are met across all deliverables and within brand identity guidelines
• Assist and collaborate with senior team members on, both small and large-scale initiatives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all deadlines are met
• Utilize pre-existing templates and create new templates as needed
• Manage relationships with printers, including print specs, costs and production review/sign-offs
• Communicate with external vendors/suppliers and internal support departments as required

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design (equivalent will be considered)
• 4-6 years graphic design experience, with previous experience working in professional services (e.g., legal, accounting, consulting or at an advertising or PR agency) preferred
• Proficient (daily use) in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience designing proposals and PowerPoint Presentations for clients
• Familiarity with HTML
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment
• Digital portfolio that demonstrates relevant design capabilities
