Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with a strong depth of knowledge in the professional services arena to join our award winning team. The position requires an individual with a desire to work in a variety of capacities from proposal writing and tradeshow/event planning to implementing a structured and focused marketing plan that helps build awareness and brand recognition of the Firm’s services and partners, with specific focus on the key industries the Firm serves.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist and guide marketing strategy – overall, and in practice niches
• Oversee effective web and social media presence
• Write web updates and other news updates for publication on the Firm’s website, Intranet, Newsletter and Social Media sites
• Organize and oversee effective PR and branding activities
• Manage the proposal process to ensure quality, consistency and proper coordination by supporting partners and marketing/administrative personnel through writing, editing, collecting relevant data/industry research and proofreading proposals
• Manage and attend sponsored industry events including defining event strategy and coordination of all event tactics including booth, personnel, promotion, speaking opportunities and appointments, client/target research
• Effectively manage work of marketing coordinator and admin support for marketing
• Guide and create ad theme content and written materials
• Drive accountability of marketing efforts and lead tracking/generation
• Be active outside of office for connecting with people, firms and trade organizations
• Define, identify and help pursue targets
• Stay up-to-date on current industry trends
• Promote internal culture and publicity for being an employer of choice

This job may be for you if:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related area
• You have a minimum 5 years of marketing experience in a professional services organization (accounting or law firm experience preferred)
• You possess excellent project management, strategic thinking, interpersonal, organizational, verbal, written and creative skills
• You demonstrate executive presence, initiative, resourcefulness and are task-oriented
• You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Constant Contact and Hub Spot (a plus)
