Description:

Anderson ZurMuehlen is looking for the right individual to develop and sustain a culture of business development. This position reports directly to the CEO and can be based out of any one of the firm’s seven Montana office locations, which are identified at www.azworld.com/offices/.

This position will take the lead role in growing the firm's practice through the promotion of brands and service offerings across business units, specialty teams and the firm overall. This role will drive lead generation through strategic business development initiatives.

Business Development and Marketing responsibilities include:

Business Development
Develop and implement best practices in business development for the firm
Identify services that provide greatest value-added services for the firm’s clients
Create business development programs and initiatives that increase new client revenue
Identify and manage firm’s pipeline process for lead generation
Drive strategic assessment of the request for proposal process
Build and maintain relationships with firm professionals to develop a culture of growth
Enhance employee business development skills through focused training and employee involvement
Champion the firm’s business development opportunities available through the BDO Alliance USA http://azworld.com/about-us/bdo-alliance-usa/

Marketing
Create and execute the firm’s annual strategic marketing plan
Develop and execute department budget to support the firm’s growth initiatives
Create process for consistent key messaging across all communication platforms including web and social media
Ensure consistent messaging throughout all internal firm communication channels
Enhance employee marketing skills through focused training and employee involvement
Monitor the changing market and competitive environment to adjust our marketing strategy and plans to achieve differentiation

Our ideal candidate
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or other related field is strongly encouraged; master’s degree in marketing or business administration preferred
Five to ten years of experience, preferably in professional services or accounting marketing
The firm will consider other relevant education and work experience as it deems appropriate.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Digital Media Specialist and Marketing Specialist

Compensation: $65,000 to $90,000

Deadline: Position closes June 15, 2018

Environment: Work inside an office setting with ergonomically configured equipment

Above average technical skills; ability to quickly grasp technologies used in the firm
Strategic thinking and strategic planning skills
Problem Solving/Analysis
Experience managing high level business development professionals
Highly proficient in oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of graphic layout program (e.g. Adobe Photoshop)
