Description:

Director of Business Development & Marketing builds the strategic marketing plan and implements sales and marketing efforts on a group and individual basis. The Director of BD&M leads responses to RFPs, builds and nurtures lead generation, oversees event strategies, manages Holtzman Partners’ social media presence, and public relations. The Director of BD&M also develops and maintains a consistent brand, integrates firm-based marketing themes into individual marketing efforts, and develops organizational support for the strategic marketing plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Leverage CRM software, Zoho, to generate inquiries, leads and nurture prospects
-Manage all components of the proposal submission process, from formal RFPs to less-formal proposal submissions
-Coach Holtzman Partners and senior managers on their personal brand including preparing and leading them in efforts to establish their visibility in proper channels. As well as creating and maintaining social media accounts/profiles including best practices for leveraging social media in business development
-Leads monthly check-in meetings and prepares and presents end-of-year summary to partners; Develops reports for presentation at Sales/Marketing meetings
-Lead CRM training for new partners and senior managers; creates documentation, owns training curriculum, and develops strategies for ongoing training
-Introduces new hires to Business Development & Marketing functions, educate the group on internal support and resources such as coaching and social media instruction
-Attend annual business development and marketing conference
-Review alumni contact list to find new leads and ensures those alums are included in the business development plan
-Lead Client Experience Initiative through creation and distribution of annual online satisfaction surveys and communicates results to partner group
-Coordinate sponsorship benefits, including developing program ads, identifying appropriate attendees, coordinating registration and payment, etc.
-Coordinate follow-up outreach, facilitates post-event evaluation and prepares ROI summaries, and other related tasks as needed
-Manage marketing communications including website and content marketing; creates and updates marketing materials used in business development and recruiting
-Evaluates event-related activities (conferences, sponsorships, speaking opportunities) and provides oversight in setting appropriate event goals, planning, executing according to budget/timeline, and follow-up
-Attend association events and serves as an ambassador for firm at industry events
-Develop relationships with regional business reporters and issues press releases regularly

QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years experience with BD&M for services company
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or related field
Experience managing vendors
Experience running traffic reports for Sales and Marketing Meetings
Experience with Zoho
Detail oriented and comfortable meeting deadlines
Ability to manage events and submissions for awards
