Job Summary

Frost Brown Todd, a regional law firm of 950+ legal professionals and staff in ten offices located in the mid-west, Dallas, TX and Pittsburgh, PA, is currently searching for a Business Development Associate for their Dallas Office. The Business Development Associate will be primarily responsible for developing and supporting tactics and activities associated with execution of the practice group and office goals and objectives. This includes various data management, directory listing maintenance and award submission generation. Support will include organization and tracking of attorney information, report generation, production of various profiles, submissions and survey responses, facilitation of assisting legal staff and updating website biographies and assisting in administration of office and practice group budgets as assigned.

Job Requirements
•Undergraduate degree required
•Minimum 5 years experience post-degree is preferred
•Business Development experience preferred
•Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Must be able to manage several tasks simultaneously in a deadline-oriented environment
•Interaction or other Client Relationship Management (CMR) system experience preferred
•Must be able to assist multiple individuals of various levels with diverse needs and problems simultaneously
•Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, editing and proofreading skills required
•Must have high degree of professionalism when interacting with internal and external clients
•Must be an independent self-starter capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects and priorities
•Must be proficient in Excel, Power Point and Word

List of Duties
•Coordinate and draft submissions of annual and unique firm Profiles, Directory Listings, Business Lists and Rankings, and Awards. Identification and tracking of other like-opportunities;
•Update office and practice group information on firm intranet and the firm’s the external website;
•Assist legal staff with the maintenance of website biographies, including learning and advising on technical issues, proofing content, and making timely updates;
•Develop content for an coordinate the assembling of pitch materials for RFPs and other proposals as needed, working with the BDD and attorneys within the office(s) as assigned.

•Coordinates on-boarding process for new attorneys, working with BASC staff and BDD as necessary to ensure attorney information is gathered, posted, and distributed promptly upon arrival, and that attorneys are briefed appropriately on available resources;
•Interact with outside sporting event venues to maintain relationships and oversee firm client entertainment ticket assets within the assigned market(s);
Researching client information and preparing reports;
•Help develop and monitor budgets for practice groups, industry teams and offices, overseeing budget implementation by approving expenses per the budget for offices and practice groups as assigned;
•Maintenance of mailing and client lists via the Firm’s InterAction software platform;
•Event, seminar, sponsorship and conference support, working with the BASC event planner for activities driven by the office(s) as assigned;
•Some writing, proofreading and editing; business writing experience strongly preferred;
•Some travel from time-to-time; and
•Other responsibilities/tasked as deemed necessary by the BDD.
