Aprio’s Marketing team is seeking a Proposal Manager to support leadership in the sales process by documenting client needs in the form of proposals. Successful proposal development will demonstrate Aprio’s understanding of the prospect’s industry and business situation and communicate the unique reasons why a prospect should do business with the firm. Aprio’s Proposal Manager will be responsible for developing compelling and persuasive proposals that accomplish these goals.

Position Responsibilities:

*Preparing proposals related to new business opportunities and client expansion, may include response to RFPs
*Interviewing the client team to obtain all necessary inputs to create an effective proposal
*Drafting persuasive proposals that demonstrate our understanding of the prospect’s needs and the value Aprio will bring to
their business
*Aiding the client team in conducting industry research
*Collaborating with the client team to produce a final deliverable
*Formatting and proofing of the final deliverable in preparation of delivery to the prospect
*Providing the client team with the necessary copies or electronic files to be sent to the prospect, as well as any other
marketing materials that may be beneficial
*Assisting client team with the preparation of prospect meeting materials and assets
*Ensuring all proposal opportunities are input into SalesForce and win-loss status is tracked


*Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing Communications or related field
*3-5 years of experience in proposal and/or presentation writing and preparation in an Accounting Firm or other professional *services firm required
*Excellent persuasive writing skills
*Command of Microsoft Office Suite
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Attention to detail and deadline driven
*Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere with short time lines and multiple priorities
*Ability to conduct online research, edit/re-write existing prose on complex topics, synthesize complex issues and communicate
effectively with internal clients
*Solid project management and time management skills
