In a long marketing career, I’m fortunate to have had a wide variety of roles, from brand building to integrated marketing to public relations to business development to managing a business to, well, accounting firm marketing. This, I think, gives me a breadth of perspective to effectively help my firm leadership run our business today and position it for tomorrow.
I have lived a few different places, from Detroit in the north to Miami in the south, and these days I find Louisville, Kentucky to be just right.
When not working, I prefer to be outdoors, doing something active such as assaulting a golf ball, hiking, paddling, or the like. In disagreeable weather I read a lot. I also enjoy the arts, including, for some unknown reason, opera.
I’m out of the business of raising children; my three are grown and I have to say I did pretty well. One played NFL football, one is a choral conductor and one is a fledgling marine biologist.
My remaining ambition is to one day run off to the Caribbean and become a pirate.
