Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman, CPAs, has been part of the Washington, DC metropolitan region since 1981. The firm provides accounting, auditing and tax services to an extensive client base, which consists of nonprofit organizations, government contractors, research and development firms, retail businesses, professional service firms, partnerships, trusts and individual clients. In total, the firm provides services to more than 1,800 individuals, 700 for-profit entities including partnerships and trusts, and 600 nonprofit organizations.

Looking for a senior-level marketing role at an energetic & passionate company? Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman, a Bethesda, MD CPA Firm is in search of a Senior Marketing Associate to join our team.
Summary of Position: 

The senior marketing associate drives strategic positioning initiatives through the maintenance of high-quality & consistent branding standards. The senior marketing associate also assists the marketing director in lead generation and nurturing marketing programs, provides support to the marketing team in select areas, and provides initiative, analysis and creative problem solving. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Manage high-quality, consistent branding standards and firm messaging via management of graphic design, advertising and sponsorship projects including development of all print and digital collateral
• Manage firm’s participation in networking, trade show and conference events including registration, representation by the firm’s professionals, on-site support, display and give-away selection and acquisition, logistics and promotional strategy
• Manage website, social media and other online platforms to ensure accuracy, relevancy, consistency and brand compliance
• Support market research and analysis, public relations initiatives and budget management
• Manage content calendar development and distribution of print/electronic newsletters and other publications (e.g. blogs, direct mailings, videos, etc.)
• Support execution of marketing plans among audit, tax and accounting professionals
• Contribute to lead qualification, CRM database management and proposal development process

Qualifications: 
• 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably with professional services marketing experience
• Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Self-starting, self-motivated strategic thinker and problem solver
• Ability to maintain effective business relationships
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and timelines
• Ability to work independently, use sound judgment and prioritize tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
