Our accounting professionals are dedicated to providing clients with the specialized knowledge and guidance necessary to meet the challenges of today’s complex, regulated world. 

The Firm seeks a Marketing Intern to maintain the firm’s media presence and assist with various marketing efforts. The candidate will work alongside staff, partners, and marketing consultants. This position is based in our New York, NY office.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the firm’s social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) through regular postings and updates; schedule regular social media posts through Hootsuite.
- Perform website analytics and track progress; update website content, upon request.
- Write and issue press releases to media outlets.
- Design marketing and advertising copy, graphics, and layout in accordance with firm standards, such as HTML e-mail announcements.
- Research prospective client data; maintain prospective and current client databases in MS Access and CCH Practice Management.
- Source promotional materials for marketing-related firm events.
- Keep colleagues, managers and partners informed of progress and the need to make adjustments to scheduled work.
- Represent the Firm in a positive light by maintaining a professional demeanor, dress, and attitude at all times.

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of undergraduate education, preferably in a business or marketing field.
- Fluency in social media, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn; and general acuity with Internet-based tools and software programs.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Strong exposure to MS Access.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to commit to working 2-3 days/week (approximately 16-24 hours).
