This position is responsible ‎for owning the Schwabe experience. The right candidate will want to be part of creating something ‎meaningful, able to juggle multiple competing priorities and passionate about creating an ‎exceptional Schwabe client experience. The position is located in our Portland, OR our ‎headquarters office. 20% travel and non-core hours are required. This position reports to the ‎Marketing/Communication Manager.‎

Job Responsibilities

Oversees all aspects of client seminars, events and entertainment firm wide. This ‎includes, but is not limited to the review and securing of venue and catering options, ‎developing and review of invitation lists, ownership of presentation materials, gifting, ‎managing internal and external RSVPs, name tags, etc. Manages event costs to ‎budgets. ‎

Manages the Schwabe gifting process and well as other processes involving client ‎engagement ‎

Attends and provides on-site support during events to manage registration and other ‎on-site logistics. Conducts pre-event strategy and post-event debrief sessions and ‎assists business development team with follow up strategies. ‎

Works collaboratively with all team members to ensure success of programs. ‎

Coordinates firm-sponsored client entertainment events including data collection, ‎analysis and reporting and effective communication with coordinating partners. ‎

Works to develop and improve existing event management processes, systems and ‎information – including the creation of event-specific scorecards focused on ROI. ‎

Job Skills and Requirements ‎

‎4-6 years’ experience ‎
Prior event planning experience required
Prior service industry experience preferred ‎
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload ‎
Client service mindset
Creative and proactive
Work and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to manage the process ‎
Strong organizational skills ‎
High sense of urgency ‎
