Overview: 
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the future-oriented vision and strategic direction for A-LIGN’s marketing team. In addition, the Director of Marketing will be responsible for oversight of marketing activities such as Google PPC as a vehicle to continuously drive inbound leads, content creation to support our outbound activities, and social media strategy. The Director of Marketing will oversee multiple staff members as well as train and develop marketing personnel across seniority levels, driving the vision of the marketing plan from the ground up. A-LIGN offers an extremely competitive base salary, bonus structure, and full benefits package and supports its marketing staff through the use of Salesforce and Pardot. The Director of Marketing will work closely with A-LIGN’s Partners, Chief Operating Officer, sales team, and marketing team, injecting his/her energy into the entire A-LIGN team.

What It Takes to Do this Job:
• Desire to build and lead winning marketing team
• Outstanding communication skills and high energy level
• Current Driver’s License and ability to travel occasionally (~15%)

Key duties include:
• Developing, monitoring, and implementing marketing plan
• Strategic marketing planning
• Training marketing staff and interns
• Staying current on marketing trends, applying those concepts to A-LIGN’s strategies and training
• Developing marketing methodology and innovating constantly
• Ensuring quality and effectiveness in email and phone communication for the marketing team
• Developing, maintaining, and teaching marketing processes and procedures
• Industry and target client research 
• Tracking and presenting marketing metrics to the partner team

Minimum Qualifications:
• Four-year degree in marketing or business administration
• 5 – 8 years of experience in high-level marketing role
• At least 2 years of experience as a manager of people, with experience in training and development
• Experience in the professional services industry is a huge plus
• Strong computer/Microsoft Office skills
• Salesforce experience is a huge plus
• Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow oral and written instructions
• Exceptional and detailed writing skills
• A high degree of flexibility and professionalism
• Outgoing personality
