Overview
BerryDunn continues to grow! We are seeking a multi-talented Content Strategist and Writer to join our growing Sales and Marketing Team. This position will develop an overall content strategy that articulates our brand and fulfills our brand promise. In this role, you will drive the firm’s brand voice and maintain the content quality across all brand channels including digital, social media, and print mediums. Responsibilities:

Strategize
-Develop and establish a brand voice that represents BerryDunn’s strategic vision and direction.
-Support the strategic vision of content across the teams and identify gaps, migration planning, messaging matrices, customer journeys, campaign strategies, creative briefs, and more.
-Build a firm messaging matrix that summarizes our value proposition, differentiators, and core messaging for each audience segment and customer journey.
-Seek and track opportunities for BerryDunn content to be published in trade journals
-Think critically about each piece of content and holistically about how the entire content strategy works together.
-Maintain and update content library, digital publishing spreadsheets, and web logs to facilitate consistency in our messaging across the firm and specific teams.
-Play an integral role in refining the firm’s SEO strategy and process. This includes research, documentation, and planning.

Develop Content
-Develop copy that makes complex concepts and strategies easy to understand
-Execute content strategy deliverables, which may include writing original content, coordinating, and editing content authored by others.
-Write and edit copy for newsletters and web pages, including articles, success stories, bios, and others as needed.
-Create compelling, human-centric stories that engage audiences and drive awareness and understanding.
-Understand standards for content governance in terms of quality, relevance, consistency, and uniqueness.
-Develop and publish content on digital marketing platforms, including, but not limited to, HubSpot, Webback, and other CMS platforms.

Analyze and Optimize
-Provide topical story ideas aligned with our keyword strategy to ensure that content is maximized for organic search.
-Create compelling headlines, leads, and quotes for technical and general content, optimizing for SEO and lead generation.
-Work to create effective end-to-end journeys inclusive of content assets, web, social, SEO, and paid media.
-Leverage experience, analytics, and research to identify content needs and gaps across stages of the customer journey.
-Understand the competitive positioning of content (in various formats and channels) produced by professional services organizations and top-tier media companies.
-Stay abreast of marketing technologies in order to design and implement new solutions and processes for content development and marketing.

Qualifications

-A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications.
-4+ years of experience in writing B2B marketing content.
-Experience developing B2B content strategies.
-Experience building customer content journeys.
-An understanding of SEO keywords and familiarity with popular SEO tools and resources.
-The ability to take complex information and transform it into clear, concise, well-organized content.
-The ability to handle complex review processes, including subject matter expert feedback.
-Strong writing, storytelling, and message creation abilities.
-Strong research skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
-Strong project management and communication skills.
-Experience managing multiple integrated initiatives simultaneously.
-Detail-oriented and organized, but comfortable with ambiguity and adept at solving problems creatively.
-The ability to work both independently and with a team.
-Experience managing others indirectly or directly is a plus.
-Superior language, grammar, and proofreading skills.
