Association for Accounting Marketing Announces 2019 Individual Marketing Achievement Award Recipients

June 12, 2019 (Las Vegas, NV) - The Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM), the leading trade association focused exclusively on marketing and business development for the accounting industry, announced the recipients of its individual Marketing Achievement Awards (MAA) today at the MGM Grand Hotel during AAM's 30th Annual Summit at AICPA ENGAGE. Individual awards are presented annually in recognition of outstanding achievements in the accounting marketing profession, as well as contributions to AAM.
Scott Moore Inducted into the Association for Accounting Marketing Hall of Fame
AAM is proud to induct an exceptional professional into the Hall of Fame. Being inducted into the AAM Hall of Fame is the highest honor in the field of accounting marketing. Inductees must have ten years or more of service and be known for their outstanding accomplishments as leaders of the association.
Scott Moore, Executive Vice President of The Rainmaker Companies, has been an active member of AAM since 2001. A true AAM advocate and former president, Scott helped establish the relationship between AAM and the AICPA, which has led to co-conferences, AICPA funded projects and support for AAM from key AICPA leaders.
Scott has had a long and distinguished career in accounting marketing and serves as the Executive Vice President of The Rainmaker Companies. His strong expertise aligned with his consultative approach has made him a figure within AAM, and throughout the accounting marketing industry. In 2009, Scott was named Marketer of the Year. He has also been recognized by Accounting Today and was recognized as one of the top 100 most influential people in the industry.
Jim Michalak Named Volunteer of the Year
AAM's Volunteer of the Year award recognizes dedication to the association, involvement on committees and/or special projects, as well as professional accomplishments.
As a member of AAM since 2015, Jim Michalak, Partner of Herbein + Company Inc., has generously shared his time, talents and professional knowledge as valuable member of AAM's Finance Committee. Throughout his years on this committee, Jim has helped ensure AAM's financial health. Most recently, Jim was an active participant in the success of AAM's transition of management companies and was heavily engaged in the opening of AAM's investment account.
Korby Boswell Honored as Rookie of the Year
A marketer on the rise demonstrating distinction in the field, the Rookie of the Year shows creativity, initiative and ambition in their firm.
Korby Boswell, Marketing and Growth Specialist of Adams, Brown, Beran and Ball (ABBB), has earned the respect of his partners and colleagues and has played an instrumental role in supporting and growing his firm through his ability to deliberately and effectively manage multiple projects and seek out new initiatives. Korby successfully implemented thought leadership to his firm. He also lead a website remodel, and created engaging content that grew impressions across the ABBB social media platforms. Korby's achievements can be accredited to his positive attitude, creativity and ability to think strategically.
