2021 AAM Summit goes hybrid
May 24-26 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel and Virtually

Who:     The Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM). The only association dedicated to marketers and business developers in the accounting industry.

What:   The highly anticipated annual AAM Summit will bring together approximately 400 accounting marketers and business developers – estimated 100 in-person in Philadelphia and 300 virtually. The Summit attracts marketing and business development experts all in one place, including representation from various accounting associations, vendors, and practice and marketing professionals.

Why:     This is the accounting marketing industry’s most significant event, one that is enriching the careers of accounting marketers, business developers and firm leaders across North America.

Highlights:  The Summit will feature keynote speakers:

  • Jina Etienne, Principal, Etienne Consulting, who will speak on leadership, diversity and inclusion, and belonging.
  • Joe Pulizzi, Founder, The Tilt, who will discuss the marketing industry as we move into the next decade.
  • Eric Majchrzak, CEO-elect and Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer, BeachFleischman PC, who will discuss his career path from marketer to CEO and what it takes to earn a seat in the C-suite.

This year’s conference is reimagined into 90-minute content blocks featuring sessions building upon each other around a common topic. Some of the key topics include:

  • The client experience
  • Using data to impact business development
  • Sales execution and process strategies
  • Launching advisory services
  • Digital advertising and email marketing
  • Marketing leadership/strategy and advancing your career

During the conference, the AAM Marketing Achievement Awards will be presented to accounting marketers and firms for excellence in multiple categories, including advertising, branding, business development initiative, collateral and content marketing, events, marketing and PR campaigns, video and multimedia, and website. This year’s awards include two new categories: Best 2020 Pivot and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Awards will also be given to this year’s Rookie of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Marketer of the Year. AAM’s annual Hall of Fame inductee will also be announced during the ceremony.
