Individual awards are presented annually in recognition of outstanding achievements in the accounting marketing profession, as well as contributions to AAM.

Kristen Lewis Inducted into the Association for Accounting Marketing Hall of Fame

AAM is proud to induct an exceptional professional into the Hall of Fame. Being inducted into the AAM Hall of Fame is the highest honor in the field of accounting marketing. Inductees must have ten years or more of service and be known for their outstanding accomplishments as leaders of the association.

In her role at EisnerAmper, Kristen is responsible for the firm's marketing efforts in New York and Philadelphia. Jean Geselius Named Volunteer of the Year

Jean led the design of 2020’s Emerge virtual conference. Her dedication to the project delivered outstanding, on-time results. The branding for Emerge was fresh, polished and modern, which helped enhance AAM’s brand perception and made the conference stand out amongst other events. Since joining Strategic Communications, she has used her design skills to update AAM’s Media Kit as well as take the lead on AAM’s Brand Guide, a large project of great significance to the association. Jean was able to infuse her strength in design to recommend primary and secondary colors, fonts and many other brand assets. She took charge showcasing her role as a true leader in every way.

Katie Lyles Honored as Rookie of the Year

A marketer on the rise demonstrating distinction in the field, the Rookie of the Year shows creativity, initiative and ambition in their firm.

Katie Lyles, Events & Marketing Coordinator for Lane Gorman Trubitt, joined the firm at the end of 2019 following her graduation from Texas A&M University of Commerce. She was brought on to manage the firm’s live events in 2020. Three months after joining the firm, the COVID-19 pandemic restricted everyone to their homes and required the firm to quickly shift from in-person events to digital webinars. Within the first two weeks of lockdown, Katie designed and established a plan for digital events through the rest of the year. Her event structure saved the firm more than $90,000 and generated more revenue than any previous event season. She quickly became an authority on digital events and video communications within the firm and was able to drastically increase events from 19 planned events to more than 30 educational events within a nine-month period. Katie worked directly with the partners-in-charge of the PPP loan task force to create a seven-webinar series throughout the year that would guide small business owners through the process of applying, accurately recording funds and the qualification for forgiveness. In addition to organizing and running the events, Katie also created all social media marketing, email marketing, paid advertising, and personal email templates for these webinars. This hard work and targeted outreach, contributed to more than 55% of the PPP loan task force revenue.
